I don’t know about you, but the week between Christmas and New Year’s is one of my favorites, especially when I don’t have to work. I’ve cleaned my apartment, taken down all the Christmas decor, I’m in the midst of organizing my closets (I have so many clothes and nothing to wear!), preparing myself financially for the year ahead, making changes to my eating and exercise routines…the list goes on.

Everything is under scrutiny as I aim to improve my lifestyle. I have some specific goals, but only one is public and that is to complete a year on the Weight Watchers program. I know I might lose a little big or I might lose a lot, the main goal is for me to stick to the program for a year. I’m sold on the cliché “lifestyle change” instead of a diet mindset. I want to make lasting changes and setting attainable goals are the first step. In two weeks I’ve lost about 8 pounds which includes Christmas dinner. Not bad! Now I just need to steer clear of place like this:
